Here is Alessandra Ambrosio in a recent Dolce & Gabbana fashion show, she is in the front row second from the right. They appear to all be wearing the same footwear, thus we should be able to properly compare the models with one another. I do feel Alessandra's legs are a little shorter, and torso a little longer then the other girls.

Yes, it's interesting that the girl on the far right is at least 6', maybe more, yet her legs are not very long relative to her overall height. She could hardly be called leggy where proportion is concerned. It just goes to show that all that matters in the fashin world is a tall, skinny body, with legs that are long in themselves, and not actually proportionally long legs. I guess the clothes hang well regardless!
ReplyDeleteActually none of them seem that leggy apart from maybe the girl second from left, and maybe that's only because she's so skinny. She also has a long torso.

I wish you could see all the way down to their feet. To me, it just looks like super tall people usually have long torsos, compared to the average population. But, they just have the long legs to go with them.
ReplyDeleteBut, Ambrosio always seemed slightly more longer waisted than the majority. Here, it looks like that to me because her thighs look relatively short compared to her body compared to the other models. I would love to have her body by the way....

Regarding the poll, well I did put one up, and now it's gone so I shall try to remedy it.
It looks different when you can see the whole body. To me, they all look very leggy.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree I take it back that none of them are leggy. Most of them are. However Alessandra isn't. I do like the shape of her legs though, and her figure in general.
